This policy explains how Corha (operated by Corha Technologies Ltd) uses cookies and similar technologies on corha.app. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They let a site remember things between requests, such as keeping you signed in. “Similar technologies” includes things like your browser’s local storage, which works in a comparable way.
2. The cookies we set
Corha sets strictly necessary cookies only. These are essential to operate the service and to keep your account secure. We do not set them for tracking or advertising. The main ones are:
- Authentication and session cookies (set by our authentication provider, Supabase). These keep you signed in and keep your session secure as you move around the app. They last for the duration of your session and are refreshed while you stay signed in; signing out clears them.
- Sign-in verification cookie. During two-factor sign-in we set a short-lived, signed cookie that carries your sign-in attempt between the password step and the verification-code step. It grants no access on its own and expires within minutes.
Because these cookies are strictly necessary to deliver a service you have asked for, UK and EU rules do not require us to ask for your consent before setting them.
3. Cookies and trackers we do not use
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, session-replay tools, or third-party analytics cookies that profile you. We do not sell data to advertisers or data brokers.
We do measure aggregate traffic on our public marketing pages, but we do this without cookies. Our first-party analytics uses a temporary per-tab identifier held in your browser’s session storage (not a cookie, and not tied to your account), and it does not store your IP address or track you across other websites. Because that data is anonymous, it does not require a consent banner. There is more detail in our Privacy Policy.
4. If this changes
If we ever introduce analytics, marketing, or other non-essential cookies or trackers, we will update this policy first and present a consent banner so you can choose before any such cookie is set. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent change.
5. Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking our strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in and using the service.
